Whenever I’m in Ghana, I take advantage of every chance I get to drink cool, natural, nutritious Coconut water. No wonder many call it the ultimate thirst quencher. Not only does it taste good, it is loaded with nutrients that provide many health benefits.
- Coconut water has low fat content. It is also an appetite suppressor and I feel full after drinking it.
- I find that it helps with digestion because of its high fiber content.

- Here’s a tip – I find that younger coconuts with greener exterior contain more water. The younger ones also have a softer white meat inside that melts in your mouth. You can also shake the coconut to gauge the amount of water it contains.
